Man!!!!!!!!! My daughter has been sending messages on this site again with my name!! Well, at least I can read what she thinks. If you want to know why I won`t let her grow out her bangs is because she looks terrible with them. Should I let her grow out her bangs or not?

ok, well if this really is the situation, although it seems a little strange to me, let your daughter grow her bangs if she wants its her hair. and if it really is your daughter- why does she have access to your member name in here?

Well Vickie, it depends. Do you think that her not wearing bangs will lead to crime and human sacrifices? If so, then chop up those bangs.
Come on....if this post is real, why on earth would you be so controlling of your child? As a parent, I do think you have a right to insist that she keep her hair clean (which is merely a matter of hygiene) and safe (long loose hair while working around motors is obviously not a wise choice).
Of all the sources of contention between a parent and child, this has to be one of the silliest. If you insist on dictating her hairstyle, I can almost guarantee that one day she`ll show up with a purple mohawk -- just to spite you!
Part of childhood is learning how to make one`s own choices. Unless you want an emotionally crippled adult child, I`d loosen the noose you have on her neck.
