I just got hair extensions this week, and I love them. My friends and co-workers were blown away at how natural they look. I am trying to be very gentle with them when brushing and I only wash them about twice a week. I love them so much and want to wear them for a long time. Am I damaging my hair? My hair grows very slow , but even after it grows out I may continue to wear them.

I never had extensions and I don't know about nowadays but I remember being told in around 1990 or 1991 that extensions can be harmful. Read the article that was just on the front page.
