who out there owns a boar's hair brush?? i have one and i really love it.. i boiled mine in hot water about 10-15 minutes when i first bought it to make it soft and it worked!! for those of you that own one, what do you do as far as cleaning it goes?? thanks in advance!!!------------- ~cea |

cea, I have Boar's Bristle Brush from Mason Pearson. I love mine too! I clean it a few different ways. First, I run my horn comb through it to get out all the hair and lint. Then, it came with a special cleaning tool that I run over the bristles to get the sebum out. Every so often, I use some diluted shampoo and warm water and wash both brush and comb. -------------
