Would the layers like Heather Locklear`s latest `do work on hair that is waist length? I`m looking for fullness and movement in my hair, but want to keep the length.

I hope you reconsider. Long straight hair at the same length is much more beautiful than a stringy, layered look. Just my opinion, of course. Why tamper with perfection? You`ll spend the next 24 months growing out your hair to the same length again anyway. Just my opinion, of course. But I am known for my good taste.

Yeah, sure you are Gord (he he). However, in this case,
I would say that it depends on the thickness of your hair. Some longhaired`s do look stringy with layers (A la Heather Locklear sometimes). Others, look great with layers because they have ENOUGH hair. IN fact, sometimes you can`t even tell there are layers, but the hair is full, particulary when the ends are curled into long spiral curls! Think Portia De Rossi (sp?) Although I may have to concede that she may only have a tapered thing going & not actual layers, I dunno.
