I want to trim my hair but I don't want it too short (i'm a guy), and most clippers trim hair to 0.5" to 1" or so.  I was wondering if there was some clipper that could trim to longer length of 2 or 3 inches maybe?.  Just curious since clippers seem like an easy way to trim your hair at home.  Thanks

The longer combs generally do not do that well.  To get clippers to cut at 2 to 3 inches long you would have to get your hair to stand straight on end as while it is laying down, the clippers would simply pass right over your hair and not cut anything.  A Flowbee http://www.flowbee.com/ - http://www.flowbee.com/  would do the trick.

Hey, thanks a lot hawg.  That is definitely a better solution than I was looking for :D  A tad bit pricey though but very awesome.

I know you said clippers with longer combs aren't that successful but if I were to go that route is there some clipper kit that allows for longer cuts?

Sally beauty supply carries attachments but I'm not sure that they have a 2 or 3 inch long one.  They also have kits.
