When removing the weft extensions..................should it pull and hurt?  It's not major pain or anything i cant handle................but do you think a ton of your natural hair is pulling out with it.  I do see some of my hair coming out...............not really enough to worry about.  I dont really have a sensitive scalp.................but im just wondering if other's experience this too...................she removes mine with an oil that comes in the kit.

To Princess72 and Mandy Dee

Elvira is right, tell me your joking! You should not feel that kind of discomfort either having extensions applied or removed. Depending on how long you have had your extensions in, it is natural to see a lot hair "come out" or shed because we shed about 150-200 hairs a day.

Now Mandy Dee, its hard to give you advice without knowing what technique or hair extensions you had, but if its any comfort, hair does grow back. About six months ago I did hair extensions on a woman whose hair had broken off from a bad perm. I mean her hair literally broke off and had bald patches(fyi i didnt do the perm). Her hair did grow back, and she was able to wear extensions, and her hair was completely healthy afterwards. So im sorry to hear about your bad experience. But have you gone back to the salon and informed them what happened? I would start there.

Some other things that can help as your going through  the growing out process (depending on how noticeable it is) are clip on extensions, hair falls, wigs. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck

I agree with mokipono, you should never feel that kind of discomfort or hair should not be getting ripped out.

When they are beeing removed its normal to see some hair come out, but it should only be the shed hair that has been trapped in the bonds. Never should your hair be getting pulled out along with the extensions that are being removed.

Anytime someone is taking out your extensions, if you feel pulling/discomfort or can tell that your hair is getting pulled out SPEAK UP...tell the stylist its pulling, or that it hurts. Make them STOP.

of course I am!  which reminds me, ive been meaning to pm you this question, do you know of any company that makes the silicone rings in a bigger size? I know  you carry the 2.6 mm, but Im trying to find (without success) silicone micro rings that are maybe 3mm on the inside. If not, I guess Ill stick to regular rings.
