I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you. I would suggest on the burnt areas put some sea breeze on it so it can heal correctly. As long as the hair follicle did not die it will grow back. One thing I used on my hair to make it grow from breaking out from a relaxer was ORS fertilizing balm. It helps to promote the hair to grow back within a month. Its especially made for relaxed hair. The only thing I didn't like is if you don't keep that area moisturized you will experience dryness.

Sorry to hear about that...I too have gotten those awful burns but it will heal...I sugges treating the area with a mix of vitamin e oil and castor oil to heal and encourage growth in that area.

sorry to confuse I was talking about the ORS fertilizing balm where can I find that?

You can find the ORS at any beauty supply store.  What I would suggest that you put on the burn areas so that they do not become infected, is Neosporin.  That will help it to heal fast, and keep out any infection.  What you should do is cleanse the area with Hydrogen Peroxide first.  Put a small amount on a cotton ball.  It will not lighten or hurt your hair at all.  Then you apply the Neosporin I am a nurse, and what I told you to do, is what is instructed to patients.

And keep conditoning your hair regularly to help with the breakage. Never stop conditioning!

Sounds like you have a good routine going on...I love VO5 moisturemilks condish for conwashes and using as a condish after pooing. Pre-pooing can be done 2 ways 1. Putting conditioner on dry hair before pooing (For softer hair) 2. Putting hot oil treatment on dry hair before pooing.(For stronger hair). I haven't done the baggie method but I think it just puttin your hair in a ponytail coating it with condish put a plastic baggie over it and conceal it with a phonie pony HTH

Wow the woes of hair don't go away huh... i'm really sorry to hear what happened. i've had that too and i used vitamin E capsules the highest IUs i could find and i put it on the area every day.   it healed and grew back...also it would be a good idea to deep condition the hair using an olive oil pre-poo. i hope you not going back there, free treatments or not..
yah take her to court. sounds like you entitled to pain and suffering.... agreed taggi...

Wow sorry to hear about this happening to you and I agree with the other ladies. Put Aloe Vera and Vitamin E on the sores. That is just horrible!

Never go to her again...for the future, the night before your appointment base your scalp with some type of grease or vaseline. It may feel thick... but I had it where stylists didn't base the scalp. It makes a barrier between you and the chemical.

I wish you well...I'm sure it will grow back.

I also agree that you should use vitamin E oil on your burns to help with the healing, and remember to condition your hair as much as possible to stop the breakage
