I removed my old set of seamless wefts and protac, washed my hair, added the tape to a new set of seamless wefts, cut the wefts to appropriate lengths and brought them to my stylist to install.  I was in the chair for 45 minutes and we were done.  She charged me $175.  Does that seem like a lot?

I didn't put them in myself because I can't see the back of my head and I don't have anyone to help me.  If I were doing regular wefts I could probably manage but the seamless wefts are a little more involved to get it right.  Plus, I don't trust myself with cutting the hair!

Mirrors, Mirrors, Mirrors!!!
You can do it, it is easier than  you think!!!
Don't pay that kind of money again, what is the worse you can do?  If you put it in bac, then you just have to take them out and replace.  If you don't trust cutting them, then go to a stylist, but whoever did your hair RIPPED YOU OFF!!!

Next time, just try it yourself.

You should talk to the other person on the other board that also just spent $175 on the same thing! Oh wait, that's you under a different name.

that is pretting high for that- when i do work that someone brings me their hair, i do the prep, use my own supplies and charge hourly- between $100-150 per hour- i use a timer as well so the only time they are charged for is while i work on them. that job would of taken me 20 mins to install and shape up if you brought me everything already prepared. otherwise 30 mins total.

well maybe I'll give it a whirl myself next time, can't hurt to try I guess!

Tangles- too bad you are not located near me- she didn't even really do a good job shaping it, the just cut the bottom straight across

Up here in Northern CA the going extension rate is about $80-$100 per hour.  For 45 minutes work I would have charged an hours worth of labor, so $80.
