Water makes your hair softer and more managable
and when you brush when wet it lengthens your wave
pattern in return making it "more spread out" ... unless
your wig is real nappy/thick ... then it will make your
pattern smaller but with more vertical texture ...

As far as a "method" I don't think I really have one ...
I do all kinds of different stuff at different times, I guess
I could write all that down and call it a method ...
