A few months back I wanted to go back to my natural color (light/med brown) after bleaching at home for quite a while. I went to my stylist and asked for root highlights to blend in with my bleached hair so it could grow out as subtly as possible.

In a few weeks I changed my mind about the whole thing and decided I wanted to keep the blonde, so I went back and asked her to cover up as much brown that had grown in as possible. So now here I am with a gorgeous, PERFECT shade of light pinky blonde, which I can proudly say I did all by myself... but about two inches of my roots are frickin' light greenish blonde from the highlights. Not to mention they look a bit choppy, which I hate. Why did I have to go and ruin a good thing?!

So I am just here to whine a little bit to get it off my chest. I'm going to try toning it myself to get it to match the rest of my hair. But something tells me it will never be the same. I have been obsessing over it for the last 5 hours and hopefully when I wake up in the morning I will see it in the sunlight and think "hey, it's not so bad."

The world of hair color is cruel sometimes. Just cruel.
