Please help!
 I am looking to find human hair wefts that have #4 mixed with 614 or an ashy type platinum blonde. I have highlights now and when I redo my hair in a few months I need to get the mixed type hair I think.
I usually buy from jetset and they only have #4 mixed with an auburn and light brown and strawberry blonde so I guess I can't use that. ------------- http://public.fotki.com/prncezzral/ |

I have never seen any premixed wefts with #4 and #614. What I do all the time when I need to mix colors, I buy one weft of each color and than layer them together and it still gives you the highlighted look. The highlights I have are very thin blonde streaks so would it look like too much blonde if I put it on the bottom of a double weft? Have you ever highlighted the jetset hair with bleach ? ------------- http://public.fotki.com/prncezzral/ |

Yeah...your going to have to buy two colors and mix them.....or cut small strips and put on top if you want chunky blonde peaking out.....otherwise put a full strip underneath your main color and it will not be so blonde.

I've colored the jetset but never bleached it.....my experience with jetset tells me it would be a big tangled mess if I tried to bleach it....better to just mix colors.....just don't think you'll find the 4/614 combo.....but you might find someone who can custom blend if your not in a hurry. ------------- Thanks, JeepGirl Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great! |

Since I am not coloring my own natural hair, I want these highlights to be somewhat subtle. So I am attaching them on the under side of the darker hair. If you want more dramatic highlights you would place them on top of the darker hair.. Once I have attached all of the highlights, then I sealed the entire weft with my weft sealant on both sides to keep everything in place and to anchor the highlights firmly to the weft. Aleene's Stop Fraying is an excellent weft sealant.. (Use an orange wood stick to help spread and push the glue into the weft) HTH ------------- Check out the 5th So Cal offline luncheon?? great suggestions Divavocals. Also as a tip to anyone who seals their wefts. Make sure to use an orange stick or a popsicle stick or whatever, but PUSH the glue INTO the weft.  Yep.. A popsicle stick is a great idea too.. Aleene's is pretty thick and you have to make sure that it gets into the weft.. Otherwise that glue will just SIT and FLOAT on top of the weft.. Can you attach the lighter hair with a microring to the darker weft? Also, if you have the money, Extensions Plus can custom make it for you. ------------- |

yes you can malibu. I did that when I wore the wawa. I shrinkied and microringed pretipped lowlights to the blonde wefts.
