Has anyone who has had their nose done had problems with breathing through it afterwards? (like 5 months afterwards). Mine is constantly getting blocked and is driving me INSANE. I expected snuffiness for the first few months but had hoped for things to be mostly settled by 5 months....

The surgery was done for cosmetic purposes, had no trouble breathing before.

Any input would be appreciated =D

I had the bridge on my nose narrowed, for cosmectic purpuses as well. But never had any breathing problems at all. The first day it was a little difficult because when I woke up I had all this dried up blood blocking my nostrils. I carefully and very slowly clean it out. That was like 3 years ago and I've never had any breathing problems at all. If that is happening to you, something went wrong.

Have you talked to your doctor? What does he have to say about it?

I had my nose job done years ago for cosmetic purposes, and I've never had any problems whatsoever.  Your issues would definitely be something to ask your doctor about.

Oh yeah, that sounds like something went wrong. You should really get that checked. Sucks how surgery can be so risky sometimes.

my left nostril closed a bit a few years after. im not stuffy but its annoying. i consulted with a p doc and they said its not major enough for corrective surgery, which i read is risky and usuly comes out bad unless maybe done by a recons. pdoc.
