I chopped off my hair about two months ago, aout an inch below my chin, with lots of layers. It looks horrible on me and I really want to grow it out by December for my brothers wedding. I bought 3 months worth of viviscal and have been taking it for two weeks and I havent noticed anything. I realize its very early to tell but if its supposed to grow 1 1/2 inches a month I thought Id see something. Has anyone had any GooD results from this product or did I waste my money? Ciss

Hi,
I know it is hard when you try a product and it doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to. I am not trying to defend Viviscal or any of the similar products but I will share some info that I have learned over the past year taking vitamins myself.
Like everything else, some things work great for some people and some things don't at all. I tried Viviscal and did not see any obvious results for me. I tried H37 instead and had almost immediate results. Does this mean that Viviscal doesn't work? No. It just means it doesn't work for me and my genetic makeup.
Growing hair is a very complex matter and I have countless conversations with people about it all the time. I ask my accupuncturist, I ask my nutrionist, I ask everyone that doesn't get sick of me asking questions.
Bottom line, you should be able to notice a difference with a product within 6 weeks. Sometimes the change is subtle but should be noticeable along the lines of change in texture or look or feel or even new root growth.

Im afraid you wasted your money
Hair is actually made up of small cells which grow at the papilla at the base of the hair follicle which creates haircells from the blood supply for this product to it would have to speed up your bodys ability to process nutrition and deliver it to all cells and also increase the bloods supply around the body by approx. 3 times (speed up your heart rate) so if it did work you would have a heart attack and die before any benefits could be seen (like in 2 minutes) So lucky for you that it didnt work. and remember, In the future make sure you have a proper consultation before making major changes and also remember, by saving $30 for a cheaper haircut is not always worth it.
