Can anyone recommend a good moisturizing conditioner?  From reading these boards I think I have come to the conclusion that I may be using too much protein on my hair.

Additionally, do you purchase your essential oils from a health food store?  I would like to buy some coconut oil but am unsure what type to get, as well as where I should begin to look for it.

Thanks in advance.

ORS replenishing pak all the way...its amazing and cheap...99 cents on sale.

also nexxus humectress is a close 2nd but its on the expensive side

if you've done a protein overload maybe you should try cowashes with cheap conditioners like V05 or suave

Hi,

You can go to the health food store and look in the cooking oil area...There are 2 types of coconut oil, refined ( which means it's ben processed and the coconut aroma is removed) and unrefined ( smells like coconut).

Also, you can obtain other essential oils from the health food store as well.

You should try Miss Keys 10 en 1.  It helps add moisture and softness to your hair and is very good to use when you have alot of new growth.  It helps you detangling your hair so much easier.

Pokahontas ,does the Neutrogena  have a pleasant scent because the shampoo although the bomb was a little on the  slightly male cologne side for me.

Well, it's not the best smelling stuff in the world but it dosen't stink at all.  The smell is faint and tolerable.  I got such great results from it that I can deal with the smell.  Normally when I used it I used a light conditioner afterwards so my hair would smell good.

My favorites:
ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Pak mixed with TJ's Herbal conditioner ( The best for my hair)

Creme of Nature Nourishing conditioner (no heat left in for about an hour or so works for me)

Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol with Mango Butter (sucks at detangling but moisturize my hair in a pinch)

Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm (I used to love this but the lemongrass smell was getting to me).

But the first two I use a lot.

suave coconut conditioner, parevnu t-tree conditioner, olive oil , mayonaise... ( i was astonished at the results but it works) bantu shea butter creme ... to just say a few. I would go on but it would seem to "mad- scientist" of a listing

Blackhoney , how good is the white rain conditioner ? I used the shampoo 18 years ago..(Lawd I do believe that I'm gettin' old) and it was ok. They must've improved since.
