my natural hair texture is curly/wavy but now my hair stays straight when I wash it and it looks like I have a perm.  How can I make my hair curly/wavy again without putting chemicals on it???

my question is have you been using any heat on your hair? if the answer is yes the culprit coud be a) the heat was too high  b) heat might have been applied a little too much  c) the product you used to apply to the hair before the heating process probaly wasn't right for your hair or d) all of the above. try laying off the heat ..that is if you were using any. it could be that it is overprocessed.

Sounds like heat damage.
