I just want to say whoever deleted my post deleted the wrong one. I accidentally hit post before I typed anything in the message box. Sorry to anyone who went into the post "Can you help me please?" the post they deleted was about straightening balms.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good conditioning straightening balm for slightly wavy hair. I don't want one that contains silicones or too many oils. Right now I just let my hair air dry but it is straight on top and wavy at the bottom and I want to make it all straight (temporarily) with a straightening balm. Any help would be appreciated. Again, I am sorry to those of you who read the previous post and there was nothing there.

Christine:)

Hi! I have had a lot of experience with this problem. I have two brands for you to try, depending on your hair length. LaMaur makes a straightening balm that I hated when my hair was shorter, but now that it is almost bra-strap length, I love it. You can get it at Sally's stores. Another great one is TIGI BED HEAD Control Freak. This one is great, whether your hair is long OR short. I have tried a lot of other ones, which shall remain nameless. It is really a trial and error thing with everyone's different hair types. My hair is curly, but fine textured and not as thick as I'd like, so I have to use something that's not too oily or conditioner-laden.
