Oh, and even if I currently have blonde hair.. do I still have to strip the color with something like colorfix or can I just dye it? I know with darker colors you have to ..but from blonde to blonde? My hair is suppose to be "light blonde" -- but def. doesn't look like it. Heres a pic:

What to call the color is not so important as actually having the picture, because chances are, different people are going to call that different shades of blonde. To me it looks like a yellowy/golden blonde, whereas the color you have now looks ashy. By the way, I LOVE your current color MUCH more than the color you are looking to achieve. Just my opinion. (At first I thought you were wanting to go from the top picture to the bottom picture.)

I don't have the answer to your stripping question. I would assume anytime you wanted to go with a new color you would have to strip the old out.

That looks like about a level 9 gold/warm to me. Yes, each brand is different, though. You should be able to lighten it to that without using a stripper. It will be a bleach......aka: lightener.

I got L'Oreal Feria in Very Light Natural Blonde.
You think this will be okay to use to lighten it or do I need to buy something like Born Blonde? :/

the top pic is the blonde that i was trying to achieve, i personally think it looks more exciting than your existing colour...but less natural. Your hair is light enough to not have to color strip. I would get it done prof. OR buy the prof color off ebay (haha i love ebay) and get a 30 vol developer. Will look fab on you :)

I don't know how to use all that developing stuff. lol. All I know is either how to remove color, or put color on. :/

Its pretty straight forward, it does come with instructions in most cases and if not there will be instructions on hair care forums on just the general net. Though i dare say you would be able to get that colour with over the counter hair dyes. Maybe the loreal multilights stuff? with the mascara like wand you use for highlights? Either way the top pic looks like a mix of 2-3 colours so you would need to buy 2-3 shades of blonde and maybe get someone to give you a hand doing highlights.
