u have to train ur hair...keep brushin...brush in the shower also..and brush ur hair wit water...to train it..so you dont need pomade..when i say i say train i mean get it to be flat wit out the pomade..and sleep or whenever ur not active wear a du-rag and/or wave cap

I think C Ridge said it for you just brush and brush and maintain your hair is all you need to do, it takes time some faster than others and for some slower than others.

what that means is, u got waves underneath but u cant see them right now, thats why wen u put pomade u see them, cuz ur hair gets layed down real good so they show, so all u gotta do is wet brush and before u go to bed, wet ur hair with a spray bottle just a lil and brush for a few strokes, than put on ur du rag and spray tha du rag with ur spray bottle just a little so its all layed down wen u wake up and wenever u get ur cut, theyll be there mayne, dont even worry about it (as long as u dont cut too low)

But pomade doesnt give you waves its just part of the process you can try using the h2o method it works great espically if your hair is low. Or you can try using a hard brush and some scurl activitor then go over it with a softie you should be fine.

Well tell me this, How long did you let your hair grow for that to happen. Cause when I let my hair grow for about a month I cant really see my  waves unless I put some pomade in my hair.
