To me the gold can is better, the black can doesnt really do much for me you can use both of them and see which one works better for you.

You can also try Scurl 360 STYLE Wave Pomade I heard that is pretty good as well.

not hard to believe to me. you will be surprised what a good brushing method, carrot creame , and lets jam orange top will do for you
