my bangs are FINALLY growing to the point where I can have them side swept. I'm looking for what type of brush to use. I'm using a round brush right now, which is okay, but then I have to use a straightener to get rid of the massive curl

any suggestions? I like doing them a bit spiky (does that even make sense?)
anyway, any help would be great

~when they are side swept (at the shortest point) they reach the eyebrow

How are you using the roung brush? Are you rotating it as you use a blowdryer on it? Because if you are, you should not be getting a big curl. At least if you are doing it the right way. And what size is the brush you are using?. It should be medium size.

You are using the right brush, I think is just probably the wrong technique.
Pull and rotate the brush while you use the blow dryer. The will get it straight enough, but still give you enough  body. You can flat iron it afterwards if you want it super straight.

Oh! and you can use a little wax pomade on the tips to give it that spiky look you like.

Oh no! don't have any experience in that departement LOL! Lets hope someone else has a suggestion for that one.

Much love, Shary
