Hi!  I recently used Coleur Expert # 6.1 (Light Ash Brown) over my medium reddish-brown colored hair.  Btw, my natural color is dark brown.  The results were pretty good - with one exception, if course...  I was evidently a little to heavy handed on one side with the hightlights (which is step #2 in the process when  you use this product).  So, on the right side, the highlights are too pronounced and a bit on the "warm" side, compared with the rest.  When I called the hotline, their recommendation was to simply apply a permanent color in the same level, and do a "touch-up application".  Does this sound like the answer to you?  If I can avoid going to a salon to correct this, that would be a plus.  Any and all suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.  Thx!

I would think you could use either permanent or semi permanent. Though sometimes semi permanents arent "strong" enough to colour blonde highlights enough so you may end up with a lighter result than expected.

OR it could grab more than you want. Just select a color a shade or two lighter than your desired result.
