Hi everyone, I cannot for the life of me use Aphogee anymore the smell alone makes me want to throw up, I wanted to know if their are any alternatives I can use. What do you recommend for mild and heavy protein treatments. I was thinking of using Motions CPR Protein recontrcutor ( http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1253/126302 - http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1253/126302 ) every two weeks and this http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1215/302217 - http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1215/302217  every six weeks instead of Aphogee. If anyone has any suggestions for mild and heavy protein treatment I would really apprecate it. Oh and my hair hair is 3 c relaxed and has a little breakage on the hair line.

oh and what do you think of this for a mild protein http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1215/302201 - http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1215/302201

Soft Sheen Due Tex Protein conditioner.  Comparable to Aphogee but cheaper.

I use ORS Replenish pak I guess what you would call a mild re-constructor. I only use aphogee 2 times a year because its a pretty strong protein constructor and I wouldn't want to use too much. But what I do use every 6 weeks is a natural laxer it helps strengthen my hair. What are you looking for your hair to do? Moisturize? strength?

Thanks pokahontas and ladykaya

I have the Motions CPR conditioner, but I'm not sure if it is a mild or heavy protein.

Ladykaya I want to strenthen my hair. I LOVE the ORS relpenish conditioner, but I am afraid to use it as a regular conditioner since it contains protein, I read somewhere that too much protein can cause hair breakage. I wanted to use ORS as a Conditioner wash wekkly since i am through using shampoo

Well I use it every other week. On the 4th week I keep it in for an hour without heat. I use the ORS hair mayo on the other weeks. Only you know what your hair can handle. So try it and see.
