If you relax your hair and you only use half of the jar is it safe to save the other half of the relaxer and use it on your hair for your next touchup, or should I just throw it away??

The last time I did that, it wasn't as strong. But it'll probably be okay as long as it's in a cool dry place. Try and see- at least you'll know for the future.

I'm not sure how long it takes a relaxer to expire but it will after a certain amount of time....When i was 8 a stylist used an expired one on my hair and it broke of HORRIBLY!!

Once it is not the kind that you have to mix, you should be okay.  Make sure that the jar is tightly closed.
