Crazy...
but I think my face shape is changing every day. First I thought it was long, then thought it was pear shaped. Then, yesterday, after measuring, it appeared oval. Now it appears to be rectangular, but wide.
(I must be hideous looking, huh?) Nah, not really...
I measured my forehead to be 5" wide, the cheeks (middle) to be 5 1/2" wide, the chin to be 4 3/4" wide and the length to be 7 " from hairline to chin.
HELP...what am I?

Hi...Never fear this happens to many people.

Hormones and water retention will actually impact face shape. A lot of people don`t fit into one really distinct category. Some people will have an oval face that tends to be a little on the long or rectangular side. Some people will have round faces with a pointed chin that would seem heart shaped.

It sounds to me like you are probably an oval that is a long oval. So you are probably oval/rectangular. If in doubt, go to the nearest makeup counter at the local department store and ask them to give their opinion. Makeup people can usually give the definitive answer since they work on faces all day long and enhancing the shape is part of their job.

Beware though, you may find yourself having a makeover. :-)

Best wishes,
Karen
