O, sometimes the videos work and sometimes they don't.

Well I know she recommends using a spray bottle mixed with a infusium and African Royal. I'm sure you could use any light leave- in conditioner and oil for a  mist that, that would be considered the scalp oil and the moisture for your hair.

What have you been doing since you had your braids?

Grow afro hair long is a great method to use, it helped me retain my length and maintain my ng. I would advise that you not put oil on your scalp or braids that would lead to major build-up(oil does not moisturize-it seals in moisture)...what I did was combine a creamy leave-in, castor oil (or any other vegetable oil you like), distilled water, s-curl and glycerin and used this spray to moisturize my scalp and the length of my braids. Also growafrolong has a great method of moisturizing ends...you use a sponge or cloth to squeeze braid spray into your braids (which allows your real hair to get moisturized). There really isn't a way to not have the front pieces from falling out but I keep it in check by spraying it with my mix and then tying down the hair with a scarf. You can check out my fotki HTH

Now that was soo informative for me! Well i got my braids done yesterday, it was sucha bad experience, but besides that i guess that the braids look nice, even though they aren't my style. at least i got one thing right so far; earlier today i sprayed leave-in conditioner. Now that i read this, im sure to add that oil you say is good.well i'll keep you informed on my hair journey and quiestions, thanks guys!!

P.s what is s-curl and what is it used for?
