The only thing that i have been doing different is ive been using a new leave in conditioner....i think thats the culprit its that detangler stuff for kids(always shopping for a bargin it was on sale) i think thats what it is because i did a cowash and i didnt use it this time and my hair was soft so i think i answere my own question lol

okay thats great that the problem is fixed! just a side note if you are low/ no cone you will have to clarify your hair because detanglers are filled with cones.

A 'cone is a type of silicone. They are known to coat the hair making it appear shiny and healthy but sometimes they mask damage and lock out moistiure in some cases. Most cones cannot be gotten out with conditioner (if you CO) and most times need a claifying something to get them out.

I can't find the article I was looking for but when i find it i will Pm you the link or post it here.

before you do anything, you need to clarify your hair. like the other PPs have said, the leave in has probably coated your hair. after clarifying, do a deep conditioing to restore moisture back into your hair

Twinklet, I was just saying you should clarify even if you don't avoid 'cones. And I'm on a no cone retunine and im doing just fine but its all a matter of personal opinion.

Do you have something like clarifying shampoo because I have so many hair products for this and that, I spend alto of money in the BSS.

Is Neutralizing something like it because I stretch my relaxers and I have a big bottle just for one thing.

no, a neutralizing shampoo is not the same thing as a carifying shampoo. A good cheapie clarifing shampoo is Suave daily clarifying 99cents). Make sure you follow with a moisturising shampoo and conditioner after.

I agree Suave Daily Clarifying is cheap and it works.
