Hey girls,

I have received my new clip in extensions in the post!! They are amazing!! The hair feels so gorgeous and the match in colour is unbelievable, you cant tell the difference!!

I have tried to put them in as am so eager to wear them but i have failed miserably

When i put them in it looks really weird at the back, like the hair is all different length, obviously because i have some placed at the nape of my neck then other wefts higher etc but it looks terrible at the back.

Also when i try clip them in i keep getting hairs caught and can feel the hair pulling...

can someone please give me some advice on wearing these clip ins as its such a shame because they are gorgeous!!

Thanks

Basically make sure you have really clean sections and if need be hairspray the stray hairs out of the way.  What exactly looks odd at the back? x

Sorry, didnt explain myself very well did i. I am useless at the sectioning thing as cant see the back. Am i best trying to use a mirror??

At the back the lengths of the hair look different. Must be because the hair is all the same length but with having some rows at the nape of my neck and others ear level the length looks choppy and not good?!..

Also i have no clue where to place them.

I have 10 clip ins.

1 x 8 inch
3 x 6 inch
4 x 4 inch
2 x 2 inch

have no idea where to put them haha

I would decide where you want them chick and then nip to have them cut at the hairdressers x

Yes you need good mirrors. You need to see the back of your head.
Also, a rat tail comb helps with creating sections (parts) I really need that comb.

I would put the 8 inch from ear to ear (top of ears)
1 6 inch above the 8
1 or 2 6 inch under the 8 inch
and then fill in with the rest. The 4 and 2 inch are probably for the sides.

I also had my clip ins cut by the stylist and she totally chopped them short which is completely idiotic since I'm obviously trying to get some length. The only person I trust cutting them is my husband. If you're going to have your stylist cut them you might want to mention not to go completely crazy with it.

I took my extensions to the hairdressers and had them cut. I got the hairdresser to put them in for me. When i got home i used my tongs on them and they looked *amazing* i was so chuffed, they stayed in all night and looked so good!!!..

Thing is now i want them in every week as they looked so good. I have been trying all week to put them in myself and have failed miserably. I really want to learn so i can wear them out fri. I am just having really trouble making the sections and seeing the back of my head :(

You really need a mirror to see the back of your head and a rat tail comb.
