I' am looking for a shampoo that will take all the products I use out of my hair. I use a Gel called Glued and I can not get the stuff out of my hair. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not color your hair, get Redken cleansing cream. The stuff will take out any build up, I don't care if is motor oil! LOL. However if you do color your hair, then go with Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two. Cleanses really well, but is gentle enough to use on colored hair, and it smells sooooo good. Like fresh lemons. Do not go with cheap brands when it comes to clarifying shampoos. They have way too many carcinogens and the Sodium Lauryl sulfate in them, will cause premature wrinkles. So spend a little more, and stay young a little longer.

Oh ok after I posted that I hoped you didnt think I was trying to be smart I really was curious. So it was just a general statement about sulfates I will be more observent with my skin products also now. I always check my hair products for sulfates but never really thought about the skin. Thanks

It is actually a particular sulfate. The one I mentioned above either Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or Amonium Lauryl sulfate (the second one being the worst). Do not confuse it with Sodium Laureth Sulfate. That, you will find in most shampoos and body washes. Is the Lauryl ones that you need to worry about.
The first two cause premature wrinkles. The lather will run down from you hair and on to your face. It is really bad for your skin and they are also carcinogens.
