I am a VERY light Blonde, and I would love to have it look more dirty Blonde. I like the light Sandy or Brown look. What could I use, to get that look. Any Suggestions? Do you pick a Neutral or Cool tone? I've tried it before and I guess I didn't pick a color dark enough because you could hardly see it. My hair is so fair it doesn't show up like the picture on the box. And I'm afraid to go into the Light Browns because that might be to drastic. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

If its really that light, you could run into trouble with the base in the color showing through in a very funky color if you go too dark.  I'd get it done at a salon, you should be able to pick a color and they would have a better idea looking at your hair exactly how to achieve it.

Do you have a pic of your current color? Don't buy the stuff at the Drug Store! Get professional products from the Beauty Supply. This is part of what I just posted in another thread....

What I found was applying a demi in a mixture of different shades of Clairol Complements Demi. I thought that using Permanent color would be more damaging. I still have to do this once a month or so to darken my ends that lighten slowly. I have about 4 or 5 inches of natural growth since last October.

The first thing I suggest is using a filler and going darker GRADUALLY! Pick a shade or two lighter than you want for your end result. Start there and go darker every 3-4 weeks, but please do a STRAND TEST!
