I have dyed blonde hair but my dark roots were coming through (about 3 inches) so I frosted the top portion of my hair.  it turned out really nice....unfortunately my hubby thought differently, as we wants me to grow back out my natural color.

Is there such a thing as "reverse highlighting" or doing darker highlights in blonde hair for a more natural look while I transition back to my natural medium brown hair?  What would I buy, or what would I ask a color expert at the salon to do?

Thanks!!

It is actually called lowlights. Highlights is when they use a lighter color over the over the base color. Lowlights is when they use a darker color over the base color.

So just tell the stylist you want lowlights. After that, is just a matter of deciding what shade you want
Good luck, hope it comes out beautiful.

Much love, Shary
