Hi,
 Ive posted here before and it doesnt seem that many people respond to my post, is it something Im saying? Do I come off way to strong when requesting advice?
I dont mean to if I do. Im just in somewhat of a panic and need a little advice.
I have an appt with the salon tuesday afternoon but Im hoping someone here can help before I shell out money I dont have. I have a really big family (5 kids & my husband) its going to cost atleast $80.00 to fix my hair that is money I dont have and money that is certainly missed when it is gone. So any help would be greatly appreciated, heck if anything just some advice as to what products I should use the next time I try to experiment at home. There is a walgreens in town but I am willing to trvel to sallys if need be.
I used the born blonde on my hair and it turned it yellowish/orangish.
Is there a product that I can use to get this color out of my hair. The lady at the salon said she could put a toner on my hair to get the yellow/orange out and that might be all she would need to do but she would have to see it first before she could tell me exactly what she would need.
 
This is the color I want and have actually had my hair this color before long long ago when I was a bit younger. It says her color is blonde but I dont think so,  its appears to me to have more a blonde/platnium/ a hint of warm gold under tone's . Or am I going color blind, Probably :(

By looking at the pictures above what color should I request from the salon?
 
Also if you suggest I use a toner what brand and what do I look for on the box to make sure it is what I need for my hair,also are there any products at wal marts or walgreens that I can purchase ?

She has extensions so I would say  the top is a cool level 9/10 so look for something with blue or purple in it, the rest looks like a shade like wella color charm 9NG.  You might have to bleach again to get rid of the orange though

So when I go to the salon I ask for this level 9/10 w/blue/purple & wella color charm 9NG?
 I usually just go in the store and buy the frost kit and do my thing but.... I didnt do that this time and I have myself an extremely ugly head of hair. Is there something I can buy from the store to rid of the yellow/orange hair?
Can anyone be more specific such as brands/shades, I am not familiar with the levels/blue/purple/9NG etc. I read the coloring podt from claude  Although it seemed to be very informative it didnt help me all to much.

 YOU COULD TRY AN ASH BLONDE,WHICH HELPS TO COUNTERACT THE ORANGE. BUT I THINK CHINASTOP WAS RIGHT,YOU MAY HAVE TO BLEACH AGAIN.BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING THOUGH,PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR. FIND A BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE (HOPEFULLY SALLY'S) AND BUY A BOTTLE OF NEUTRAL PROTEIN FILLER. ADD THIS TO THE HAIR DYE OF YOUR CHOICE (ABOUT 2 OUNCES) BEFORE COLORING. IT WILL ENSURE EVEN COLOR RESULTS AND KEEP HAIR FROM BECOMING TOO DAMAGED (IF IT ISNT ALREADY)
YOU CAN ALSO DILUTE IT WITH WATER AND USE IT AS A DAILY RECONTRUCTOR. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT PROTEIN FILLERS YEARS AGO,BECAUSE THEY REALLY HELP! GOOD LUCK!!

I am not sure how light or how orange your hair is, but before you put anymore chemicals on your hair- try a color depositing shampoo and conditioner.  There are a lot of violet (to counteract gold brassy tones) based shampoos and conditioners availible.  My favorite is Artec White Violet.

Can that be bought at sallys or walmart or maybe walgreens?
Will this sort of shamppo help to remove the yellow/gold tones

I haven't had any luck with the cheaper ones like John Frieda and stuff at Walgreens and Walmart. Artec is great! You can get it at most beauty supply places like Sally's.

You can also get these small packets at Sally's that contain a red/gold corrector (I purchased the small bottle).  You can blend it into your own favorite shampoo or conditioner and let it sit on your hair for 3 min or so.  Seems to help tone down the orange tones in mine.  It is also great to add to your hair dye as a little extra insurance from brassiness.
