I'm not sure how to spell it. Anyway, my roots and the hair on top of my head to about my ears is super flat but even when I flat iron the rest of my hair it still has body if that makes since. Will Moouse give my roots/ crown body?

After you shampoo your hair, tilt your head over and put some mousse on your fingertips and rub it on your scalp area. Then keep ypur head tilted and blow dry your hair and i promise this will give it more body. I have super fine hair and this works for me.

I bought Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse but it says to put it in your wet hair then blow dry. I wash and blowdry my hair at night because I don't have time in the moringing before school. Will the body stay all night? Should I just dampen my crown/roots in the morning put some in then dry it again? Would it work the same?

Hi Precious Girl,
That herbal essence brand you chose works really well. I'm not so sure that your hair would hold the body all night, this may even make your scalp more oily. You don't necessarily even have to put the mousse in while the hair is damp anyway. I would continue with your normal hair routine...just maybe put some mousse on fingertips, work through your hair with head tilted right before school.

One more thing that works for me is this sports type thickening gel. (i can't think of the name of it.) After i shampoo my hair i'll work this through and scrunch it a little. Then i'll blow dry it but not completely. Whenever it does dry it looks really thick and has lots of volume... oh and it lasts all day.

Do you have layers or what? I have them and when i add  my mousse (pantene) it has alot of bounce to it too.

I do not have layers. My hair is all the same lenght. I think I may need to change that though. It's heavy and thick and smothering me. I need a cut. Would layers make my hair healthier, prettier, lighter, easier to style, ect?
