Ok i want to know what a razorcut does for the hair, does it make your hair look different or does it just texture it or what?.Im talking about for guys to,im a guy and im looking to do soming different with my hair,it just does nothing but lay flat all the time and i also have two cowlicks in the fornt, which makes any style really difficult for me.If anyone cut maybe post a pic or 2 of guys with razorcuts so i get a good idea of what they look like that would be great.I would just look for them on yahoo, but wheni type razorcut in it keeps finding things about an actual razorcut not the haircut.

Also i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the guy in this pic has had a razorcut,i like the look of his hair.

Razor-cut ruined my hair, it broke the shaft of my hair and made it incredibly frizzy...but, many people love razor cuts, I may have just had a inexperinced stylist.

Razor cutting is used whenever layers and volume want to be added, but without weight. For example for layered bobs specially the ones that are shorter in the back, and have volume in the back as well (think Charlize Theron in Eon Flux (sp?) or Jennifer Aniston when she got the famous Rachel cut, and years later when she cut her hair into a beautiful layered bob. When bobs are layared with a razor, you can't really see the layers. They kind of blend in, creating that soft volume ilusion.

I personally love razor cuts, but you have to make sure you have a stylist that knows what he/she is doing. Otherwise you will end up with a bad experience such as Chelsea explained above.
