That hair looks absolutely beautiful and I can't believe how it perfectly matches the natural hair.

The clips don't look that big, so I am wondering do they have enough grip to stay in your hair without budging? I thought you would need the bigger ones?

That's a really good question goddess, I've experimented with different sizes and the small ones are the best for me. They don't budge at all. I've tried other clips that slip right out.

You should see them in person!!!

Very cute chica!!! But I told you this already...

I can't WAIT for Sherrie to add the French Refined Boyme to her store... That would be a GOOD intro for me to Bohyme. Especially after seeing some of the GORGEOUS BHM pics of this texture... Sherrie... when OH WHEN will you be adding the French Refined hair????

Oh thanks so much. That helped alot. I am still not sure about the color. I think I need 27. Is it like a light strawberry blonde. If it is I could color it to match my medium reddish auburn hair . Also could wearing hair extensions cause your own hair to thin out or not grow, the clip in kind I mean. I have been wearing some I have now for about 6 months on a daily basis. I was hoping my own hair would grow, since with the extensions I don't need to use styling tools that much. It seems though, that my own hair has gotten thinner, and if defintly hasn't grown. What could be the problem??? I would hate not to wear the extensions, and I definitly want to order yours if I can get the right color.

Yes it's possibe, but it can be easily remedied..

Are you finding hair in the clips when you remove them?? If you are it could be either the clips you're using or you may be pulling on the hair accidentally when taking them out..

Do you notice or feel tugging and pulling where the clips are placed?? The clips should feel comfortable, and they should not tug or pull at your hair..

Thanks so much nicey These clips aren't slipping. I'm definetly not worried about that. I have tried clips that do slip so you have to make sure you test them first. Trust me, you'll know if they're slipping as soon as you put them on.

wvpumkin
: I haven't noticed damage with the clip-ins. I've been wearing them since Feb. and I've had a lot of growth. Divav is right in her suggestions.

hi wvpumpkin, the #27 Bohyme is very very light strawberry blond. Really not alot of strawberry to it at all, its very light with just a hint of red tone.
Without seeing the hair I would say medium reddish auburn falls somewhere in the #30's on a Bohyme chart. They have a #30, #31 #32, #33 and #35 and also some gorgeous blends like M30/33. The safest way to get the right color is to match your hair to a color ring.

With clip ins if your hair is thin brittle or dry, its problably not a good idea to wear clip ins long term. But alot of women wear them successfully without damage.

Also keep in mind, when you get used to seeing yourself with thick full hair, and then take the extensions out it can make your own hair seem extra thin.

Thanks for the help, that makes me feel better that your hair is still growing. It is probably just my terrible diet, which I am trying to fix right now. Also, where do you find those tiny clips. I just have the ones you get at Sallys beauty.

Sherrie, thanks for all the info. I thought the same thing, that the extensions make my hair so full that without I look like a wet rat lol. I think my diet plays a big role in the way my hair is growing./not growing.

I have to agree with Sherrie about the clip-ins. If you have thin brittle hair, the clips aren't great but I don't think any extesions on delicate/brittle hair is a good idea, IMO.

I've been trying to grow out my hair because I've been doing Japanese straightening for five years and stopped doing it a year ago. My hair has been breaking at the bottom but growing a lot. It's easy to see how much it's grown since I have all this curly hair growing out. I like the clip-ins because I do intense conditioning treatments once a week. Eventually I plan to try protac because it is a gentle method. When I had the liquid gold install it was very comfortable.

wvpumpkin: I got the small clips from a store called Naimies.

They're $2.00 each!! It's a rip off but they're good clips.

They started at 14" length and then I cut the hair once I finished sewing all the clips on. They're now between 12 and 13 inches. I did double weft them. Hope this helps!

edit: the width of the top wefts are 11" and the width of the bottom wefts is 10"
