What are some good clarifying shampoos out there? I used to like Pantene Daily Clarifying shampoo. I am wondering if it did any good or not? Is there something better? Thanks in advance.

Hi OT,

Only you can say whether the Pantene worked for you or not. The key to a good clarifying shampoo is to remove product buildup. If you felt that your hair was free of buildup with the Pantene, then I am sure it worked.

I don`t use a clarifying shampoo very often because it tends to overly strip my naturally dry hair. However, there are lots of good ones on the market. Most major brands will have a clarifying shampoo as part of their line. Philou has the Green Apple which is designed specifically to strip gunk out of the hair. Vain has their Peppermint shampoo and Edwin Paul has the Classic Shampoo. Aveda has the Detox shampoo and there are many many more.
