I have been working on (attempting) making an extended length threader/pulling tool/linker for the 2mm size rings. This is some of my progress after quite a bit of whittling and soldering. And gluing.

It's a weapon until it's actually a microlinker.

In my Eurolocs kit, I got the threader tool which was basically a ventilating needle holder with a long piece of thin gauge wire looped in it.  I went to the craft store and bought a whole spool of wire to have on hand, so when my wire broke I just cut a new piece and screwed it into the ventilating needle holder.  You need to use thin wire because it needs to be able to fit in the ventilating needle holder.

Anyway, I make my wire very long, so I can accomodate 100 rings at a time before I need to reload it.

i hace one that holds about 35 rings, i need it that length- not longer cause it has to fit into my belt- i wear a tool belt and place it in the holder each time i use it, i am quick at getting it and putting it back, where do u place yours?

When I use my wire ring holder I just slide it over my arm while I crimp the ring in place.

Great ideas ladies!

I'm  having my brother the welder make them for me. I wanted the sturdy long kind that fit shrinkies but are too big for the microrings.

maybe you can have it be multi-use?  hook on one end and... rat's tail comb on the other or something?
