So extensions can cause this form of alopecia?  Has anyone ever experienced this? x

yea its when theres too much tension on the hair it pulls it out at the roots and causes alopecia which can be temporary or permenant in some instances. Its easy to spot as you get little red pimple type things on your head, if this happens take them out STRAIGHT AWAY

Kateadreena, didn't this just happen to you with your last install? I remember you had some problems with it. How's your hair now? Did you do a new install?

Wearing a weave for 5 years thinned out my temple area a little bit.
