RECENTLY I TRY A DOMINICAN HAIR PRODUCT CALLED MISS KEY 1O EN 1 AND LACIO LACIO LEAVE IN CONDITIONER. WOWWW MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN SO SOFT . I WANT TO RECOMMEND IT. I BOUGHT THEM IN SICKBAY . THEY HAVE THE CHEAPER PRICES IN DOMINICAN HAIR PRODUCTS.   DID ANYBODY HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE ? AND WHICH PRODUCT DID YOU RECOMMEND?

I love Lacio Lacio, and I purchase items from only Sickbay.  I also love the Olive Oil conditioners, Milk & Honey, Aloe Vera, and Silicon Mix.

I also love Lacio Lacio. They used it for my roller set at a salon in Atlanta and my hair came out soooo straight. And 10 en 1 smells so good - like you could eat it ! Even the dominican ladies were saying how soft my hair is !Tongue

I love Miss keys 10 en 1....try using it after doing a ACV rinse omg it makes my hair feel like silk! I also love Salerm 21 products and Nutrine non-scented Garlic poo. I want to use more Dominican products but I am wary of them having mineral/petroleum oil...I really want to try Alter Ego garlic condish but its sooo expensive I will have to wait....

BLACKHONEY

I WENT TO ANOTHER FORUM THAT IS FOR RELAXED HAIR. THERE IS A LADY CALLED TOOMANYGRANDKIDS. SHE TRIED MANY DOMINICAN HAIR PRODUCTS. SHE TELLS HER OPINIONS OF THE PRODUCTS SHE USED AND  THE INGREDIENTS OF THE PRODUCTS. SHE LIKES TO MIX PRODUCTS  AND GIVE HER OPINION OF THAT TOO.GO TO THIS PAGE http://p211.ezboard.com/frelaxhaircarefrm1 - http://p211.ezboard.com/frelaxhaircarefrm1.
GO TO GENERAL  RELAXED HAIR  CARE DISCUSSION AREA AND LATER FIND THE TOPIC HELP /QUESTIONS LEARN TO USE DOMINICAN PRODUCT HERE.I KNOW THAT IT WILL HELP YOU.

I VIEWED EXCELLENT COMMENTS OF NACIDIT OLIVE OIL TREATMENT AND  A MISS KEY AVOCADO AND ALOE . BUT I DIDNT TRY THEM. I CAN RECOMMEND LACIO LACIO, (LEAVE IN COND.) MISS KEY 10 EN 1 , CAPILO SOLE AND CINNAMON AND RYSELL COCONUT.

I THINK THAT MANY OF THESE  PRODUCTS HAVE MINERAL OIL AND /OR PETROLATUM. BUT NEXXUS ARE GREAT PRODUCTS AND SOME OF THEM HAVE MINERAL OIL. RYSELL COCONUT AND CAPILO SOLE AND CINNAMON HAVE BOTH. MISS KEY 10 EN 1 AND LACIO LACIO DIDNT HAVE ANY OF 2. LACIO LACIO IS COMPARED WITH SALERM 21 LEAVE IN. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Blackhoney, I bought the Capilo brand.  They do contain mineral and petroleum in them.  Sorry I did not see your question before.

Blackhoney, you are welcome Smile.  I find that Sickbay is less expensive than IBeauty.  I wish that Sickbay would stock more products.  You will not be dissapointed in AlterEgo products, they are excellent.

have been reviewing the dominican products.
i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between
a conditioner and a cream rinse.

Are they both the same thing?
when do you use a cream rinse instead of a conditioner.

please help!

AND AGREE WITH CLAUDIE SICKBAY IS CHEAPER.I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. AND THE SHIPPING IS REASONABLE.

Kelly, you use the rinse, after you rinse the conditioner from your hair.  Let, it sit for a couple minutes, and comb it through your hair from the ends up.  It helps with detangling, and further provide conditioning benefit for your hair.

Hi,

Would you happen to know of any good leave in products that are good for thickening the hair back up and make it grow again?  My hair thinned out a little from taking steroids.

Thanks,

BlackbarbiedollSmile

The stylist used Salerm 21 B5 spray for my roller set.  My hair feels great! Relaxer: ALTERGO (present)
This relaxer was applied by a dominican stylist. They made sure I had my scalp based and treated my hair after. I will not be doing self relaxers anymore....... I have a roll and wrap. My hair feels soft. I will not be putting anything in imy hair until next week:  I use to use Alter Ego Nourishing Serum, but I notice my hair started to get dry after 1 day.  I am now using http://aolsearch.aol.com/aol/redir?src=dmn_wolp&s_req=b6513297451d3e18&s_cr=2&s_cq=cristalli+liquidi&s_cid=276386118788426039698085032444266451923&s_cim=1224689875837&s_cu=http%3A%2F%2Fswitcher.dmn.aol.com%2Fsw%2Fr%3Fri%3D33yk2Bgio1QV2N4zCi0thIkg%26ai%3D1%26dt%3D1224689875572%26u%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252Faclk%253Fsa%253DL%2526ai%253DBkN1Y00j_SIPFJZ7C8QSF8Ji_AoWRukj5r5yjA52d3O4NoP4KEAIYAiC8oo4CKAk4AVDo9sHn-P____8BYMm-uYfgo7QQyAEByAKBi48E2QPbCcf9VSKQkw%2526num%253D2%2526ggladgrp%253D284753497%2526gglcreat%253D790972957%2526sig%253DAGiWqtxZDY-alSKCkPVRvfEP9k2P6ECo2Q%2526q%253Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.shopzilla.com%252Fmkt.xpml%25253Fmkt_id%25253D83105668%26cs%3Dh7Sibk2jBiwLLfpOj78L3wY0tI4%253D&s_cd=googleSLR&s_gp=0&s_pCt=aol-landing&s_pt=AFS&s_pCh=campaign3&s_cm=dmn_wolp.M.xml&s_ct=%3Cb%3ECristalli+Liquidi%3C%2Fb%3E&s_cp=1&s_gl=0&s_cpr=2 - -

I order from ibeautyny.com and find the prices very reasonable.  Try them

Posted By: jackie23

Current relaxer is Altergo no-lye

My scalp is not itchy or flaky hee, hee
Then night before she washes my hair

  • I apply Nexxus Emergencee (to the roots only)
  • I put a light protein conditioner (heated) Organic Hair Maynonnise on my hair ends. This makes the Emergencee silky instead of rock hard. I sleep with a plastic cap. Then I go to the salon the next day.

Leave-ins:

  • Alter Elgo Nourishing Serum leave-in twice once or twice a week. I do not use this anymore, I felt like I had to be using it too much and for $20 a bottle, it had to goAngry
  • I have been using  Cristalli Liquidi for about 4 months and a little goes a long way.  If I use to much my hair will be flat. I still need some more moisturing to leave in and light
  • Salerm 21 B5 is used in the salon on blow outs/rolls and wraps

I will continue to have roll and wrap to avoid my hair from thinning ou, so I will have my hair pins and my silk wrap when I walk out the salon to keep my wrap fresh.
