Cantu leave in con left my hair feeling hard.  I put it in as the directions read and put a scarf over my ponytail and the next morning my ponytail was sooo hard....so I had to go to work with a gel down looking ponytail.

Does anyone use this product if so what did I do wrong?!!!!

if im not mistaken the cantu leave in has protein in it which is why your hair felt hard...try using it with something moisturizing.

i just bought this the other day and so far so good....but then again my hair seems to really like protein..so idk..

So if my hair doesn't  like protein i will have negative results..........really I feel like duh about this and my hair is shedding now.

Maybe I use too much?

Sounds like you used too much!  Cantu leave-in is a great product but a little goes and long way.  Product buildup will also make the hair feel hard and weighed down.

I use Cantu Leave-In all the time and its great, but it can leave the hair a little hard if you put too much on.  I usually put it on my hair either to deep condition and let it sit so its get hard and then I wash it out.  I also put it when I get out of the shower when my hair is damp.  I massage it throughout my hair like a moisturizer, give my hair a few quick combs with a detangler comb, put my wrap cap on and call it a night.

Cantu works better on damp/wet, unless you plan not to use much then its okay on dry hair.  If you use too much on wet or dry hair and not wash it out it will get hard, as most hard products of that type will do.
