Hi!
Has anobody tried the virgin indian hair from http://www.hairpiece.com - www.hairpiece.com ?
I wonder if it's real virgin hair, at this price, $170 is pretty good for a 18 inches weft no?
They say you can bleach the hair, has anybody tried it on this hair?
Here's the product:

Hmmmm... I would be wary. All I know is their pre-tipped hair was CRAP when I bought some about a year and a half ago.

Their store is the next town from me. I know the pre-tipped hair is the 909 and after a couple of months it does turn to crap. I do know that on the 909 hair and their closure peices which is not 909, I don't know what it is, they say NOT to color the hair. So if they're saying you can color it or bleach it I would think they're being honest. You can call them and ask. See what they say and you'll get a better idea. I know people had success coloring the wagman hair.

Well someone needs to tell them what "virgin" is.. they also have this product:

European Texture Virgin Hair Weft 18 inches
HAIR: INDIAN TEMPLE HAIR 18"
STYLE: WEFT OR HANDTIED

VERY SOFT AND MANAGEABLE PURE HUMAN HAIR
10 NATURAL COLORS AVAILABLE

Ensuring those of us in "the know" that this is most definitely NOT virgin hair..

I'm also wondering what this hair is:

Pure Virgin Weft Hair 12", 14" & 18"
Pure Virgin Weft Hair 12", 14" & 18"
Unprocessed, Untreated.
5 colors available.
Approximately 4 ounces per bundle.

So you think because they have many colors available, it can't be virgin?..

I guess it looks suspicious to me too, the price too is very low for virgin hair..Ermm

That European hair cannot be virgin because it's been processed for color.. Virgin hair means it's not been processed for color or texture..

It's a marketing pic.. They are going to "arrange" the hair to make it look nice. It tells you NOTHING about the hair you are going to get.. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, there's no way to examine hair for quality from a picture on a website..

Frenchie - This might be a little pricy for Indian hair BUT considering that many of the less expensive sources are fraught with other issues such as nits, split ends, etc, this might be considered a good price for real virgin hair if it is nit free and does not contain an over abundance of split ends. If you feel that  it is worth the money to PAY for hair that has already been cleaned for you, and you can confirm it really is virgin hair buy it if you like it... I have cleaned nits from hair, trimmed split ends, and removed grey hairs from Indian hair.. While the hair itself was beautiful after all my hard work, I personally would have preferred to spend more money for the SAME hair without the nits, greys, and split ends.. Personal choices.. you spend your money however you are comfortable spending it..

I have no opinion on this hair as I've never seen it but no, Frenchie, $170 is not a good price for 18" virgin hair.
