So life has been really, really stressful in the past few months, and the stress is going to continue for another few months.

I've noticed my hair is starting to fall-out, especially in the front. My fringe has developed this empty spot in the middle - it looks like I'm combing them back on the sides so it's not a bad look, but I know it's lack of hair rather than a style choice.

So besides eating well and trying to deal effectively with the current life stressors, does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,
Grace

I just read on The Long Hair Community (Nightshade's journal in particular) that Moonchaser's Sweet Success Oil helps with thinning and encourages growth. Also, gentle scalp massage, herbal teas (chamomile is calming), lavender oil (also calming)....hope that helps!

Sorry to hear you are experiencing so much stress and hair fallout, Amazing Grace.  I also deal with constantly high stress levels.  Aside from suggesting vacations ('cause I don't know if that's a realistic option for you), I would suggest supplementing your diet with vitamins and herbs that are beneficial for reducing hair fallout.  (There are separate threads within the LH forum that address supplementation.)  I hope the stress and hair fallout decrease for you... Good luck!.
