I started out with waves when i was 9 years old so that had to be around 95. When they developed they were just ordinary waves so i thought since i had those that i was on top of the world because i had no idea there was another level to waves. I always got compliments about them from family and friends and eventually strangers on the street. When i graduated from fifth grade i got serious about them so my dad would come to my middle school every other week, same time, everyday before lunch and pull me out of class to go get a fresh cut. Of course the teachers caught on because i would leave with a head full of hair and come back with a low cut.But even the teachers didn't mind as long as i was done with every thing. This was the popular thing until twisties, braids and hangtime came in the picture. After that my wave process kinda slow'd down because i got lazy and started thinking about other hair styles. I never got any other ones but fades which only left my waves at the top.My waves where neglected as of eighth grade, still to this day i wish that wouldn'tve happened because i regret it. When i graduated from middle school the changeup began. I had never seen so many people with waves in my life. At this point i was introduced to 360 waves and they changed my whole view on waves. For a while i would look at other peoples hair almost as if i were studying them for my wave homework. There were also girls with 360's so i had to do something. I got all the information i needed about 360 waves and ran with it until i bought my personal needs for 360's(pomade,wavecap,brush etc...) I used these things for some time and i would brush my hair so much that my scalp would burn, and that usually happens when you have a perm in for a long amount of time. There were compliments and there were haters but i took the compliments and used the hate as energy for better waves. My junior year my 360's were deadly, then i experimented with a texturizer to see how much more deadly they could become. This took my 360's to another level, i mean i had never seen so much shine in my head before.Soon the text wore off and i was back to the 360's i had before i got the text. Senior year was the same but after i graduated i slacked off again, but the funny thing is no matter how much i slacked off someones waves were there to encourage me to gat back in the game. It's now 2006 and i feel that they are at another level, i just try to keep it cut and keep up with my brushes because i seem to lose alot of them. I can remember when i started to get a signature wave brush and i would always misplace it but when i went to buy another one the old one would show up. Whoever said that the wave game wasn't just a game it was i life style was so right. If i aint at the top i'm on my way [IMG]smileys/smiley10.gif" align="middle" />
