Date Posted: January 26 2001 at 2:49pm Hey all, My wife`s hair is red and curly. Everyime she tries putting in lighter-colored streaks they never lighten. Everytime she tries to straighten it, it just gets frizzy. I thought she`s just using cheap stuff, but she tells me they should work. The products are only like $15 each though, so I don`t know. Just wondering if anyone has any info on where to start? I could care less, seeing as anytime she does something to her hair I think it looks great, but she`s getting down about it! My hair is black, and I bleached it once (and then died the tips red, but that`s another story!), so I don`t know why she is having so much trouble. Course, I did leave the stuff in for four hours... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I`m trying to find some stuff out without her knowing. I asked her to go to a salon, but she insists on trying to do it herself. Thanx! Replies:
