Hi

About 2 weeks ago i dyed my hair using Nutrisse in a shade called Bilberry which was like a blue black. It was supposed to be permanent but the colour has recently started coming out. About 2 months ago i tried bleaching my hair and it came out yellow. a day after that i dyed it in a light brownish red colour. It is this red colour that is coming through now.

Could my previous hair dye mistakes have made the permanent dye less permanent or is nutrisse just a bad hair colourant?

My natural colour is dark brown with copper highlights and the only reason for going black was to make my hair blend in with my roots. I have been growing my hair out from a super short spiky cut since december and it is currently very layered and just above my ears in the front andjust above the collar at the back.

Is there any remedy for my colour problem and also is there a way of rectifying it without damaging my hair even more or me having to sacrifice all my growth.

PS My hair is naturally wavy and somewhere between fine and coarse. I dont know if this affects the dye at all.

Please help, your replies are eagerly anticipated

Ingo, I can`t stress enough for you to stop right now and make an appt. with a color specialist. I went through the exact same thing last summer. I wanted a friend to highlight and my hair turned White!!! then I put 3 more colors on it the next day, Then went to 3 different salons in as many months that didn`t do a good job, my hair kept turning Orange!! Then in Sept. I went to a color specialist and she got my hair back to normal, but the damage was done. I had been trying to grow my hair out but now to have it look healthy still have it about mid neck legnth. Now its looking healthy and I`m ready to let the growing begin again. Please go to a specialist for this..
