that is the question. about 2 weeks ago, i purchased euronext clip-in extensions from sally's & i got the go-ahead to dye them darker to match the shade of brown i had at the time. well, that shade i had is much lighter now from fading, & i'm actually debating on whether to go back to platinum blonde, & i'm pretty sure i'm going to. i'd also like to continue wearing my extensions, so i was wondering if anyone has any idea if it's alright to bleach the extensions. when i bleach my hair, i don't use just any bleach..i use clairol born blonde, just in case anyone is familiar with that product.
if anyone knows what i can do, an answer would be appreciated asap.

You're better off buying new extensions.. This hair is already overprocessed and will NEVER stand up to bleaching.. Sorry wish I could tell you some better news..

thanks for replying! i was actually hoping that the answer was a no, because in the long run, i'd be better off buying a new set of extensions. thanks again.

Yeah, ditto, I've did it with hair from sally's before, and it works, but it makes the hair pretty nasty.
