Date Posted: February 04 2001 at 3:06am Hi, I have colored hair, and haven`t tried many volumizing products because they can make the color fade more quickly. I`m at the point now where I really don`t care, because I hate how flat my hair gets and need to know some good volumizing shampoos/conditioners. My roommate has used Matrix Amplify, and she didn`t get great results, so are there any other lines with good volumizing products out there? I`ve tried the Amplify mousse and I hated it- it made my hair all snarly when it was dry. I`ve heard of Redken Fat Cat, has anyone tried that? Right now I`m using Back to Basics Raspberry Almond shampoo and conditioner... I hate to stop using it because I got the 1 liter bottles, but oh well. Thanks! Replies: Posted By: demodoll Date Posted: February 05 2001 at 10:33am I have very fine hair and I have been using the Amplify hairspray and volumizing tonic with fairly good results. I also use ArTec`s volume gel. I have tried the Fat Cat line but Redkin has a new line out and I am currently using the shampoo and I really love it. I think it is called HeadsUp or something. Light blue bottles. Some of the Edwin Paul products they sell on this site are pretty good too. I liked the volume spray and the gel/mousse. Most of these products will sort of temporarily change the texture of your hair but that is the whole point.
