I am 26 and have a hair problem. It it getting on my nerves. It is 2-5 inches all over(sides are shortest) and I am either going to get a perm or just get it cut. I need help deciding what to do. My wife wants me to get a perm but I don`t know. I have gotten them before but other men male fun but my wife loves my hair curly(the curlier the better for her). What does eveyone else think? Should I perm or not? She also wants me to get it set after the perm. What is this and would my hair look good curly. Please help me decide. I need advice.

alright, not to go against wives here, but....
why are you so annoyed with your hair?
2 weeks ago my dear hubby came home and informed me that he is dyeing his shoulderblade length naturally wavy hair black. The next day we did his hair.
2 days later his gotee was bleached white. (he works in a motorcycle shop, so he fits right in with his clientele)
Granted it wasn`t my choice, but the point is it`s *his* hair. I can`t tell him what to do and i can`t make requests of him that he isnt comfortable with.
Is your wife aware of how you feel? If you aren`t comfortable with this - don`t do it. just breeds resentment in the long run.

Well, do you care more about what your wife thinks or what the guys think? If personally you don`t mind having a perm, and your wife loves it, I would say perm it. Then when the guys rib you about it, just smile and say something about how much your wife loves it and the benefits are great (wink-wink). Or something to that effect. Then wait and see if they all run out to get perms for the "great benefits".
