Please note a change of venue.. The original restaurant selected would
not take a reservation until the morning of the 29th, and IMO, that was
not acceptable for such a large group. So please check your mail. I just secured a new location (one who was HAPPY to accomodate us!) I sent out notice of the update to the Evite.. Please see the Evite for the new location.. (We're only around the corner from the original location) ------------- Check out the 5th So Cal offline luncheon?? that was a good idea. you would think the first place WOULD want to take the reservations for us and make $$$. oh well. thankyou for all the work, time, and thought you are putting in to this so that everyone can get together and enjoy it! ------------- |

Thanks ladies.. happy to do this.. The original restaurant wanted me to call the morning of to "hold a table" (they don't do reservations). PLUS they won't seat us until EVERYONE was present.. I already know that a few ladies are coming late, and making us ALL wait is unacceptable.. I could have made a case with the manager and probably gotten him to change his mind, but I didn't feel like being bothered. So I decided to go with Plan B instead. I was like, if you don't want the business of 20 ladies, then we'll take our act over to a restaurant that will.. And there you have it!!

I've never been to Plan A restaurant. Their policy is really stupid, IMO. Truly, how much business do they think they'll be getting in mid-afternoon on a Sunday? Don't they realize we Hair Club women like to spend money?
I'm happy about Plan B. Although I've never been to that location, I used to go to other restaurants in that chain and always found them to be a fun place for a group of people. Thank you, Diva, for doing all the work to pull this off!  ------------- Here's to the end of my BAD HAIR LIFE! |

Kristie, I have been to the Plan A location and it is very nice, but yes you are right their policies are ridiculous!!! Plan B was mor ethan happy to accomodate us, and I didn't have to beg to get the reservation.. At last count we're at 20 confirmed, 3 maybes, and 5 undecideds.. Can we have a show and tell? Since I'm sure we all have our own box-o-hair I thought it might be neat to bring a few things. There are so many different companies offering hair and different supplies I'd love to be able to see things first hand without having to buy them. If you have any odd bits of hair, links, bonds, supplies, etc we should try to bring them so we can pass them around and all have a look. What do you ladies think?
I still haven't seen pro-tac.... I know one of you must have an extra strip lying around... and synthetic hair- I'd love to see that too. Bring what you've got and I'll do the same.
