Hey guys, I'm new!
Please excuse me if this has been discussed before, or feel free to direct me to an old thread.
What do you know of enzyme developers vs. traditional peroxide/ammonia developers? I've heard that enzyme developers cause much less damage than regular developers...is this true? If so, why don't more salons use them? How do I know if a salon uses this type of product?

Good question, I never even heard of them until I googled enzyme
developers +hair just now. They do look good, and I'd like to
know advantages and disadvantages of them too. Any pros
know?

Ya, tell me about it. Very few people know about this...I wonder why? Is it a new product? Is it just not effective? The way I found out about them was from this stylist:

I have yet to find anyone else who knows what I'm talking about, and I have a lot of stylist friends!
