I just recently took a sew in out of my hair and this is how I typically wear my hair.  I wash and condition it weekly and make sure to grease it at least daily. I start to notice my edges were breaking my hair was blonde a few weeks back and I had it done back black to stop breakage. I don't relax my hair because I'm a color freak so it was either one or the other and I choose the coloring.  When I rub around the edges I feel little rough hairs that are broke off Cry.  What can I do to stop this problem?

you may want to try essential and carrier oils instead of grease.
grease clogs up the pores. and many greases contain mineral oil, lanolin, and other ingredients that are harmful.

www.motowngirl.com has a great breakdown of oils and the major benefits of different types of oils.

also, some weaves cause breakage because it is too tight, in too long, etc.

and when you add color into the mix, (color is drying) then that is just an additional culprit.

you may want to stop doing so many of those things all at once for a while.  at least not until you've narrowed down the problem.

deep condition more often, at least once a week.  moisture at least twice a day. seal in your moisture with an oil. good luck.
